Technical and commercial advisor to the investor for the development of the 400 MW Songon combined-cycle gas turbine (CCGT) IPP, covering feasibility, project structuring, financial modelling, technical specifications, and support through all contract negotiations (concession, PPA, EPC, O&M).

Within this broader mandate, the team acted as Owner’s Engineer for the grid access infrastructure required to connect the Songon plant to the national grid. The engineered scope included: construction of a new 225/90 kV substation at Songon; a second transformer bay at Yopougon 2; a new 90/15 kV bay at Dabou; and a new 225 kV HV transmission line from Songon to Yopougon 2, together with improvements to the Yopougon 2, Dabou, and Abobo substations. Services included detailed preliminary design, grid and protection studies, tower and foundation design, bills of materials, and full tendering with technical clarifications. The project was subsequently discontinued by the owner for commercial reasons.
