Technical consultancy to the owner of a 1,200 MW combined-cycle gas power plant throughout its full construction, commissioning, and early operation phases in Algeria.
The scope included a feasibility study to manage the increase in electricity flow while keeping the existing substation operational during works; concept and basic design; elaboration of technical specifications for all major electrical equipment (power transformers, instrument transformers, circuit breakers, relay protection, control systems); conduct of the call for tenders and EPC selection; design review; procurement and factory acceptance testing; construction and commissioning supervision; and guarantee period services.
